Finding the Good Even When Things Get Bad

Finding the Good Even When Things Get Bad

Topics: , , , , ,

If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I’d want to pass along to others…

Learn to love yourself. Once you love you, it opens you up to all different types of experiences in this world. Whatever you focus on is what you get, so why not focus on the good and the positive?

Do your very best to live love and kindness and not in the Ego. When we live in our ego, life is complicated and distorted. If you want to experience everything fully, let go of your ego.

Forgiving is key. Without forgiveness, you will stay stagnant. Remember when you forgive someone, it is for you, not for them. You are not saying what they did or said was okay, you are saying: it’s done, I can’t change it, now I must let it go so it doesn’t imprison me in my thoughts of not forgiving.

Be in the NOW. Do your very best to be where you are and with who you are with at all times. Be present. To go along with that, let go of the past. The past is just that: THE PAST. Until you let go, you will not be able to live in the present. Don’t base any of your present experiences on the past.

Do what you are passionate about. Don’t just settle in life for any old job, find one you either love or one that you like while you are pursuing what you love.

Know that you deserve the best and don’t settle for anything less.

Be truthful and loyal.

Be very aware that you will never be perfect; no one and nothing is. If you keep striving for perfection, you will never be happy.

Don’t compete with others; do your best to be better than YOU were yesterday, not better than someone else.

Know that you can manifest almost anything you desire. Use the law of attraction every day. If you want something, put it out into the Universe. Be specific. The best way I know to do this is to make a bi-yearly vision board. A vision board, if looked at every day, can change your life. It goes back to whatever you focus on is what you get.

Your loved ones who passed on are still with you in spirit… you can still talk to them, reach out to them and love them. They know.

Live Fearlessly. Fear will hold you back from living the best life you could live, being the best you you could be, and everything else in life.

Pettiness doesn’t matter nor does being right.

Learn to compromise and show appreciation in your relationships and you’ll be amazed at how wonderful they become.

Respect others. Be willing to do some work for what you want in life. Believe me, the effort pays off.

Be happy with where, who and how you are right now, and you’ll see how more will flow in to make you even happier.

Every experience is a learning experience: do your best to find what it is trying to teach you. You may not be able to right away, but when you are ready, you will sometimes realize why it happened.

Even if you Don’t Agree with Their Choices…

In these days of so much intolerance of others’ beliefs & opinions, Beth nails it once again. We are each unique, & we have our own unique reactions to what happens to us.
To all, if crunched for time, pls. at least read Beth’s final paragraph here.
And, to Beth, thank you for this powerful reminder for all of us.
PS. I know readers of Beth’s blog & this comment are self-selected spiritually-aware folks, & we may think we don’t need this reminder. But, for myself, I’ll admit to feeling outraged sometimes by somebody else’s belief. I may think, “Those folks. How could they believe…?” Then, I take a breath & remember. Maybe you too?
For the blessing of unconditional love, I pray. Blessed be & Amen.

Secret Secret Garden

Each of us has our own unique way of perceiving life. We are made up of our past experiences and lessons, our upbringing, what we perceive from our particular point of view, and how we relate and feel in society.

If two people had the same exact experience, they would each view it in a different way. Their thoughts and feelings may be similar but can no way be exactly the same because of that uniqueness that we all possess.

So what makes us think that we are all going to have the same opinion of an experience or why do we feel the need to compare who we are to another when we will never be the same.

If someone gets something that you would love to have then you don’t have to become envious or jealous of that person at all. You can have something similar if you…

My holiday greetings for YOU!

Happy Holidays and the Best New Year ever!

My suggestion to help you have the BEST any Year ever is to start your day with GRATITUDE; a quiet time (on or by the toilet if needed!); 2 – 10 Deep Belly Breaths; a Sense of Wonder (Nature, your Kids, your Job/Retirement, your ____); a well-developed, maybe crazy, sense of humor (mine is called “wicked” by friends!), and a Smile–no matter what comes at you in those first challenging moments/hours of wakefulness!!

Remember that you and EVERYONE you meet Every day is also a Child of God, just as you are. And, I believe that we do project outward whatever we are feeling inside of ourselves–OMG!     So, inwardly (or outwardly, if you dare!) bless that person who you find to be “difficult,” who triggers your buttons! Take a DEEP breath. Then, Smile & move on with your day!

I didn’t mean to sound so preachy! But, I do wish you all the best from my heart with JOY!

Blessings and love to you and your families.

LindaLouise

PS. BTW, yes, I’m back after months of challenging health issues. I’m wishing you, and me (!), a healthy and/or healthier 2015!! “Bless us, Everyonel!” And, thanks for reading “LindaLouiseReiki.”

In a Moment of Uncertainty

I know this from experience, but the reminder can still be needed! Thank you, Beth.

Secret Secret Garden

There are times where we are uncertain of which way to go. We get confused and wonder what we are supposed to do and what direction is the right way. In those moments, we feel as if we have no one to talk to and no one to help us get to where we want to be.

Did you know that right now and in every moment  you always have someone to talk to and someone to help guide you?   And that someone is the Universe that you are forever connected to.

When you feel uncertain, take a moment to step aside from the fearful confused feelings and thoughts, and take a deep breath in. Close your eyes and when you exhale just let your exhale release the confusion. Then breathe in again and when you exhale, feel as if you are going ‘within’ where your eternal connection is…

Are you Appreciating in the Right Way?

Beth and Lee's Blog

intentions

Appreciating isn’t just about looking back at the end of a day and thinking about what made you feel good and positive. There is truly an art to appreciation my friend.

Think of all that you do in a day and how many times you appreciate life in general. I’m talking about the everyday ordinary things in life.  The things that happen again and again that we can take advantage of just because it is there.

Or what about those moments where life feels less than positive.  Have you ever thought of finding the appreciation in that moment as well? It can be found. It just takes a conscious focused thought and an opening of your heart and mind.

Each day be conscious of appreciation. Look at what you have in each moment that you appreciate; the beautiful rain, the smell of coffee, the impromptu smile from another, the trees…
